Anna Sheetz began her work at First Presbyterian Church in summer 2016 as the “Minister of Youth, Adult, and Servanthood”. Growing up on the East Coast, attending Eastern University for her BA in Youth Ministry, and then attending Fuller Theological Seminary on the West Coast, Anna has since settled down in the Midwest with her husband and young family. Since 2016, Anna has held a variety of titles at FPC, from “Ministry of Equipping” to the recent “Director of Christian Education”. The highlights of her ministry have been working with the families of the church, hosting multiple Vacation Bible eXperiences (VBX), creating the Grow Group (a 12-month Bible Curriculum) and the Dodekah Program, which culminated in a trip to Scotland with 12 church members in 2023. Anna is on the Leadership Planning Team for the APCE Annual Conference and is a Candidate for Ministry under the East Iowa Presbytery.
