Here’s how it will work:
Each Sunday, we take that Morning’s Bible Scriptures that the Sermon will be based on. We walk them each through a SOAP Model.
Scripture; We read the scriptures by ourselves and together.
Observation; What do you notice? Who is in this passage? What is actually happening in your own words?
Application: Is this a helpful or harmful idea? Does it move us closer or further from God? What might it tell us about the complexity of relationships with others and with God?
Prayer: What expansive language might we use for God’s name today? Let’s pray together using a COLLECT: an ancient type of prayer.
