Prayer request from my friend Payton Lyons:
One of her friends posted on social media that she was going to kill herself and leave her boyfriend and children behind. As you can imagine, Payton was really upset by that post and called me on Facebook to ask me to pray for her. I said I absolutely would. I’ve been in that situation before where a friend posted something like that on Facebook and we were all freaked out about it. Luckily she did receive the help she needed, and hopefully it will be the same for Payton’s friend. The police were trying to find her. Please pray that the situation is resolved and she gets the help she needs.

My friend and fellow Midwesterner Morgan Gassert of Nebraska could use your prayers. Her grandmother passed away yesterday and I know how devastating that is since February 26th marked two years since my grandma died. Please pray that Morgan and her family find strength in this time and come together to celebrate the life of her grandmother. That’s what my family did. My friends and I will be sending her flowers and an angel statue to express our condolences to her. I’m sure she will also appreciate the prayers from everyone here as well. Thanks so much!

Please add the March for our Lives (3/25/18) to the prayer chain. I'm noIt sure of details for Iowa but they are being organized all over the country. I'll be there in spirit but unfortunately I'll only be there in spirit.
Also would like to add everyone who has been touched in any way by violence to the prayer chain. For me Christ came to give us abundant life - not a life filled with fear, anger, and prejudice that causes one to retaliate against others in such horrible ways.
