My friend Kayla Shelton of Toronto, Ontario, Canada could use your prayers. Her cousin died today in a terrible accident, I’m guessing it was a vehicle accident but I don’t know for sure. Please pray for Kayla and her family as they grieve this loss. Kayla may live far away, but we are friends and sisters by heart. I know she will appreciate these.

"Prayers would be awesome. I went back to the oral surgeon today and he says I will lose my other front tooth. He still has hope the other 4 can be saved. There are small bone chips in my lip that will have to stay there. I get my stitches out next Monday. We will know in 6-8 weeks what the next step will be. I can't talk or eat , so for now I will be on liquid diet. Thanks for your concern."

It is with deep sadness that I share that Javaid Gill, husband of PEB Executive Director, Veda Gill, passed away on February 7, 2018. He had suffered a stroke three weeks earlier.
I have known Javaid for ten years and I will always remember him as a cheerful man, gracious host, and dear friend. I am honored to represent Friends of PEB and You as I travel to Pakistan tonight and attend his funeral on Saturday.
Please continue to lift up Veda, her four sons, and their extended family to our loving God. May His peace and comfort surround them in the days ahead.

Dear Friends and Family,
As many of you already know, Mary Ann was able to spend a month before and after the birth of our first grandchild - Beatrice Ehrlich Pedde - in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was born on January 6, and I was able to get there just a few hours before she was born. We think she is the MOST beautiful baby in the world, even though we "may be a bit biased"!! BTW, she does not like getting a bath!!
Mary Ann had MRI and CT scans yesterday. The Dr. said the CT looked quite good, but the MRI of her head showed several small cancer lesions. They will be doing ONE pinpoint radiation treatment in her brain this Tuesday, Feb. 13. We are both relieved that this is only one treatment, and that she does not need to resume Chemo treatments, at least for now.
Thank-you so much for your continued thoughts and prayers.

My friend Danielle Carden could use your prayers. She and I met this fall through a favorite TV show and now we’re doing a fitness program together (and have been doing so since November). She’s training for a 5K, but I think she overdid it a bit since she is currently suffering from a sprained hamstring and runners knee. She has to take a few days off from working out, and potentially has to get crutches. Please pray for a quick recovery and that this won’t derail her training too much.
Also, an update on my friend Payton Lyons. She finally sees her gastroparesis doctor this week, so hopefully she’ll finally get some new treatment or at least some answers as to why she’s not feeling well. Please continue to pray for her and hope that she gets some relief.
