My friends Traci Haberman of Stillwater, MN and Raven Walton of De Valls Bluff, AR could use your prayers. They are both in the hospital for health problems and have been in low spirits. Traci is in a lot of pain and may have to have surgery for a torn intestine. She doesn’t really have family to visit her so she feels very lonely and is having trouble sleeping. I came up with the idea (with her help) to send her get well cards. So my friends and I will do that. I sent mine yesterday. As for Raven, she suffers from gastroparesis and has a pacemaker. There was a staph infection on her pacemaker so the original plan was to remove it, clean it and move it to the other side of her body, but that didn’t work and the infection is persistent. She’s had to do many different things to try to make her feel better and she and her family are pretty much living at the hospital now. I plan to send her a letter with some pictures I colored (still need to color one too, but am waiting on our printer to be fixed), and hopefully that will lift her spirits too. Please keep them in your prayers and I will keep everyone posted on how they are!
