Updates on my friends and their health issues:
Traci did end up having to have surgery to remove a mass on her stomach, but it was successful and as far as I know she’s doing better. I got a card from her on Saturday and I will always treasure it. She said she’s sending me something else soon too.
Raven is having surgery soon. They’re going to remove her pacemaker and have her wear it on the outside of her body on the left side for two months. The doctors hope that will help clear the staph infection. After the two months has passed, she’ll have a new pacemaker put in on her right side. She’s nervous for the surgeries (as anyone would be), and her doctors are cautiously optimistic that this will help her!
Please continue to keep them in your prayers. I know they both greatly appreciate everything. I’m not sure if Raven got the stuff I sent her, but I hope she did. Thanks so much for your continued support!
