My friend Callie Young of Louisiana could use some prayers for her family.
Callie is the legal guardian of two of her nieces. The older one, Alyvia, was recently at a doctor’s appointment for pre surgery on her knee. It was determined that she did not need surgery, but there could be a serious condition causing the pain (they’re thinking either rhumetoid arthritis or lupus), and she sees another doctor later in the week to see what it is and what the best option is. Alyvia’s mother said that she had a a cousin who passed away from lupus, and we’re hoping it’s not too serious. Please pray for Callie, Alyvia, and her cousin Emmah, who Callie also has custody of. I will keep everyone posted as I know things.
