My older sister, Mary who lives in California has recently been diagnosed with mild cognitive disorder, dementia. It's probably Alzheimers, due to my dad's family history. She doesn't want to move to Fresno to a retirement center (her son, wife and 2 kids live in Fresno). She doesn't want to leave Inverness, where she's lived almost 50 years. Please pray for Mary, for clarity, strength, and courage.
For now the plan is for Jay (son) and Abigail (granddaughter age 14) to be there for her hip surgery on Sept. 6th, then Mary will be transported to a rehab center - possibly at the retirement facility where she will be going. Please pray for Jay and his family as well as Mary, Eileen and myself. Thanks very much!
