Hi, Sam. Hope you are doing well. We are hanging in there, but want to ask for a special prayer request.
It's probably been said before, but we're asking for prayers for health care workers, locally, nationally... everywhere. I don't think people quite understand what it's really like for those who are so directly involved in the pandemic... questions, stress, isolation, not knowing what's next, constant changes... and trying to "keep the faith". It's so stressful and emotionally draining, physically scary, and it seems to go on forever.
You know Anne and Lauren are both nurses at UIHC. Each has been in some very scary situations in the past week. We are pleading for people to stay home, not only for themselves, but for others.
